Future Ninja Event update: New changes explained

Dear Kings and Queens,

As many of you noticed last week, Donkey received a very special present!
With the Ninja Event Rework under way, we’ve used your feedback to tackle and improve three core pillars of the event:

Refined Trophy Requirements
Improved Rewards System
Rebalanced Gameplay Difficulty

Let’s dive into some details of how these changes will improve your gameplay experience:

⚔️ Decoupling War Matchmaking from trophies

Currently, the War matchmaking formula includes a player’s total Trophy count.
We noticed this created a stressful cycle: players would drop trophies before a War to get easier matchups, only to be forced into a stressful grind to regain those trophies for the Ninja event immediately after.
Therefore, we’re removing the trophy requirement from war matchmaking. Matchups in War will be based on your last war’s result.

Our goal is to eliminate the “forced grind” and make the transition between events smoother and more enjoyable.
To support this further, we have decreased the trophy requirements across all Ninja tiers, giving everyone more breathing room and a chance to climb the highest tiers!
